Recently, I was presented with a gift of a Book, published under my own management and with great love and care: "Ode Aan De Magie". From the Amsterdam meek, charismatic power woman: Sara Hermanides.
An unadulterated cherishing book, with very subtle, & (pr)like illustrations by her companion and life companion Sven Goedbloed.

In a clear, catchy and also very flexible writing style, Sara takes you as a reader into her personal and candid world of daily magic, in the "accidental" encounters, the animal (!) suggestions and 'you name it': if you are open to it are or open to, want to open up: "Magic is not something you look for; it is

the symbolism that visits us when we dare to look," she writes.

And yes, in that respect this book is also a 'coming out'; for Sara: "For a long time I resisted everything spiritual and magical. Now I am ready to share my love for magic, spirituality and symbolism with the world". And how... In short, rich, succinct, experiential stories, Sara offers us a whole bouquet of surprising, astonishing and often moving magical experiences. And the metro suddenly made an emergency stop and she looked outside and found a stunning, crystal-clear message on a wall in graffiti that turned her decision in one go.

In short, "Ode to Magic" provides a very rich and inspiring reading experience and at the same time, as far as I am concerned, also a very welcome impulse to get even more attention to the Magic & Mystery of life. As Sara describes it: "I love the magic of life because it gives you confidence that everything is always going exactly as it should

to go. You can work hard to break through or process something, but that active approach often moves right past the essence and creates an eternal quest. Listening to the messages that life brings and so sometimes waiting and doing nothing gives the space to let what you need find you".
