        GRATITUDE

Gratitude is purely positive.

That's why it's at the heart of ancient rituals

and...

science proves time and again that there is no better medicine.

We love working with gratitude.

A great gift from the primal source.

WHAT'S
GRATITUDE
FOR US?

Sven

I have experienced the healing power of gratitude twice in my life during intense loss. I am so glad that I have the ability to be grateful even in times of deep misery. That is the basis of my confidence in life. I first heard the primal prayer in "The Power of Gratitude" in a ceremony. In that moment something fell into place that is movingly deeply embedded in me. The sincere thanks for life.

Sara

Gratitude makes me enjoy the smallest things and defy the greatest obstacles. Gratitude has taught me that it can soothe and heal any sorrow. Even when my maternal heart was broken, I drew renewed strength from gratitude. For me, the primal thankfulness in "The Power of Gratitude" is about the art of celebrating existence. The love, the simplicity, the humor, the wonder...everything!

For anyone who wants to do a simple ritual for themselves or with friends or family that focuses on gratitude.

SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE?

Science often presents us with riddles but when it comes to gratitude it speaks plainly. There has been an overabundance of research on the effect of gratitude which shows over and over again that gratitude only has significant positive effects and no side effects. What does science show if you write one A-4 full every day with what you are grateful for?

  • grateful people are less materialistic.

  • grateful people sleep better.

  • gratitude prevents chronic diseases.

  • grateful people have less stress.

  • grateful people have more enjoyable relationships.

This list is inexhaustible because gratitude has also been found to positively affect depression and eating disorders and to boost our immune system although further research needs to be done on this. Don't worry though, convincing evidence will eventually emerge from that too. It has been known for millennia that simply being grateful is the engine of our vitality. Thanks to the hundreds of psychologists, neuroscientists and doctors who have studied this subject so thoroughly.
